* As a Maintenance Equipment Lead, you will be responsible for leading all operational (manufacturing and packaging) engineering activities at the site to ensure high performance of the end to end value stream in alignment with GSK strategies and goals.
* Responsible for reliability engineering, performance, and maintenance of production equipment.
* Accountable for the leadership and development of a team of maintenance technicians.
* Manage the Repair & Maintenance OPEX budget related to production equipment.
* Ensure highest standards are in place and in use for Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability initiatives; Support and Provide effective leadership to drive the EHS Management System to ensure full compliance with GMPs, Quality, regulatory and customer expectations.
* Lead the maintenance strategy in conjunction with logistics, Production, and the maintenance planning to deliver reduced breakdowns, reduced repair times, and eliminate repeat equipment failures.
* Identify and implement strategic investment opportunities on production equipment to deliver business benefit.
* Partner with logistics and production teams to ensure continuity of commercial supply by setting standards for escalation, communication, and issue resolution of both tactical and strategic initiatives.
* As a member of the engineering leadership team, provide input to (and ownership of) the engineering team objectives and strategy.
* Utilize best-in-class methodologies to deliver continuous improvement to operational efficiency (TPM, WCM, Operator Asset Care, OEE data analysis, etc.).
* Share and receive best practices with other manufacturing sites in the PSC network to deliver maximum results against the above objectives.
* Benchmark equipment and technician performance against industry competitors to adopt best practices.
* Establish a formal technician training and development program to ensure technicians remain up to date with standards and practices.
* Deploying a range of technical strategies and innovative solutions which drive compliance and competitiveness in the market. This requires working across many adjacent functions including Tech(IT), Process Development, Operational Excellence and Supply Chain. The breadth of technologies will include:
* IIoT, 5G, Operational Technology
* Vision Technologies
* Smart Automation: Robotics, Cobots, Automatic Guided Vehicles
* Digital, Data and Analytics (DDA)
* Responsible for the lifecycle management of automation platforms across the site network that cover processes including batch manufacturing of pastes, tableting and dispensing and blending of powders.
* Within secondary operations processes include high speed packing of powders, tablets, liquids and pastes as well as assurance processes including serialization, vision systems, computer systems validation and building management systems.
* Maintaining and enhancing Engineering Standards across a range of areas including Technology Asset Lifecycle Management, Serialization and OT Cyber Security.
* Working across the region and sites to ensure that automation systems are protected with the appropriate level of cyber security protection and security controls based on a defense in depth principles as well as building capability in this and adjacent topics.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor 's Degree in engineering or equivalent Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical or Automation Engineering)
Essential Skills and Abilities:
* ‎5 years of experience within a highly regulated (cGMP) manufacturing environment in either engineering or operations
* Good knowledge of EHS
* ‎1-‎2 years of experience directly managing people
* Develop good relationship with factory staff. This will maximize overall team effort and therefore raise customer satisfaction.
* Co-ordinate with Warehouse, Planning, QA and Engineering as and when required to ensure on time delivery of materials and not to have any backlogs.
* Accountable for individually identified risks and escalate to the line manager, where applicable develop risk mitigation plan and monitor the implementation plan.
* Strictly adhere to GSK Environmental, Health and safety instructions as per site EHS policy and procedures to prevent accidents.
* Ensure full GMP compliance in all performed duties.
* Supervise outside maintenance contractors, working inside the plant, and ensure full GMP and EHS compliance.
* Avoid LTAs by using the right techniques e.g. manual handling.
* Promote quality and safe working all the time applying Zero access and LOTO standards.
