Job Summary/Purpose


Support the Deputy Manager, Translation Services in the execution of all
Translation related activities and administrative support to the Translation
Section.


Job Responsibilities


‎1. Translate general/business documents from English to Arabic and vice versa
as requested by Deputy Manager, Translation Services.
‎2. Type all Arabic/English documents including Deputy Manager, Translation
Services voice recorded translation cutting down by ‎50% regular time needed to
deliver final translation to users.
‎3. Research legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct
translation.
‎4. Liaise with clients to discuss any unclear points.
‎5. Proofread and edit final translated versions.
‎6. Provide clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version
of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document.
‎7. Use the internet and e-mail as research tools throughout the translation
process.
‎8. Prioritize work to meet deadlines.
‎9. Type and check all Arabic/English documents including Arabic/English
dictation typing for the final document.
‎10. Schedule the meetings with Clients for the Deputy Manager, Translation
Services and set reminders on tasks.
‎11. Receive and filter all incoming calls and dial outgoing calls related to
Department.
‎12. Check, stamp and register incoming mail addressed to the Deputy Manager,
Translation Services, collect and send outgoing mail.
‎13. Prepare and Maintain Translation Department Monthly Report, Minutes of
the Meeting, letters, faxes and memos.
‎14. Liaison with Deputy Manager-ISO Quality Control, Certification Body and
other parties related to the Quality Management Systems for Translation
Department procedures.
‎15. Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
‎16. Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on
internal communication portals.
‎17. Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
‎18. Perform other duties as requested by management.


Education - Primary


Diploma (12th Standard + ‎2 or ‎3 years Diploma)


Experience - Primary


‎5


CPC Experience


‎1 year in previous grade
