ME Career Services is expanding its range of services to include Executive
Career Services (ECS) within its offerings. As the ECS Senior Specialist, you
will be assisting the build-out of our strategic placement and executive
career advisory capabilities in the Middle East. You will be dedicated to
finding solutions to talent related challenges including individuals going
through a transition, clients and alumni with hiring needs, and BD teams
planning strategies on how to best serve our clients. You will also contribute
to the active sourcing of executive job opportunities, by building and
maintaining relationships with hiring managers at target employers.
Career support looks like coaching and advisory for career transitions,
networking strategies, interview preparation, offer negotiation support, and
referrals to more specialized career professionals
You will work closely with the internal career services team in establishing a
close working relationship with Practice Area (PA) leads, CEO and office
leadership to design career roadmap and execute priorities, including but not
limited to:
* Collating senior-executives job opportunities within the team
* Learn to match individuals ' work experience and future interests with open roles in the market (N-1/C-suite/SVP/VP/Directors)
* Conduct search mandates for BCG's high-priority client network
* Help in creating and managing the database, ensuring high data quality standards
Strategic Placement:
* Develop and deliver tactical career development support including job search strategies and positioning, resume feedback, networking tactics, interview preparation and offer negotiation to priority executives in transition.
* Advise retiring senior executives on potential options for boards and other advisory roles
* Ensure equitable and market leading approaches to career transition
* Collaborate with our in-house ICF certified coach to provide one-on-one confidential career coaching and thought partnering on career management and job search to ensure seamless and integrated experience for senior executives departing the firm
Talent Market Trends & Career Roadmap:
* Support communication efforts, leveraging insights from the internal team and market outlook from external executive search partners
* Analyze and advise on talent mapping, historical placement data, including job titles and offer benchmarking
* Execute training for BCGers on various career topics and how to leverage ECS services to champion relationship excellence with clients, where appropriate
Collaboration & Marketing:
* Work alongside PA nodes and Business Development team to cultivate appropriate relationships and account planning priorities for high priority clients ensuring responsiveness to client needs
* Contribute to supply of opportunities through network of search professionals, BCG alumni, and senior leaders who have visibility of CXO opportunities
* In collaboration with CS team, develop relationships with senior alumni regarding not only their own career progression but also their hiring needs and how to leverage EPS
* Develop necessary outward facing communication and presence to ensure services are well-known both externally and internally so that the accomplishments of EPS team are recognized and demonstrated
* Responsible for amplifying EPS visibility within the organization by acting as a business partner and advisor to BCG leadership teams on issues related to strategic placement
* Maintain and cultivate relationships externally to enhance job opportunities for our network and leverage connections to make the appropriate introductions for job seekers
Communication & Teaming:
* Effectively communicate and team together in this environment is critical, use of tech/ digital tools is an important aspect of working, not only for ECS team spread across Europe and N. America, but the stakeholders for this role will be based in multiple BCG offices as well. You will use several digital tools to build, nurture and maintain relationships within our network.
* Measure, track and report on metrics demonstrating successes of ECS; capture and report market data on trends and compensation benchmarking; and efficiently communicate and collaborate on projects with the team.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**

Undergraduate degree required;MBA or other professional degree preferred
* A minimum of 5 years of work experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility, preferably within a professional services firm
* A minimum of 2 years of experience working for a global executive search firm or executive search desk of a headhunting firm is strongly preferred
* Professional network of search professionals and/or corporate recruiters
* Experience/gravitas/drive necessary to coordinate with senior stakeholders within BCG and client network on highly sensitive and confidential HR/placement issues
* Knowledge of collaboration tools preferred: Zoom, Trello, Slack
* Adept at recruiting toolkits and platforms: Linkedin Recruiter, Job boards, BoardEx etc
* Microsoft proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

YOU'LL WORK WITH**
You will work in a team of 5 individuals which includes the Career Services
Manager and a team of 3 specialists / senior specialists. You will be
reporting directly to the Career Services Manager. You will regularly interact
with in internal team members and the wider HR team. You will communicate with
