Line Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Line Maintenance Manager for managing and planning of all
maintenance activities carried out on Jazeera fleet. The incumbent will report
to Head of Line Maintenance and will also coordinate and prioritize
maintenance resources.

Responsibilities and duties:
* Providing directions and coordinating the maintenance activities.
* Ensuring full serviceability of J9 fleet and functionality of cabin systems to meet commercial schedule and keeping the Management informed of any irregularities at all the times.
* Develop weekly and monthly plans for the maintenance of operating aircraft and assure maximum availability of aircraft.
* Ensure that all maintenance activities performed on the aircraft are satisfactorily completed and certified in accordance with DGCA requirements; Safety & Security standard approved data, Maintenance Program and established procedures.
* Ensure reporting of all mandatory occurrences and serious defect found during the maintenance process to the Engineering services with copy to the Compliance Monitoring Department and investigate when and as required.
* Ensuring that the contracted maintenance provider has assigned enough and qualified staff, on a ‎24 hours basis, to support the services of J9 aircraft and that all J9 work orders are correctly detailed and executed according to the terms and conditions of the signed agreement with provider.
* Ensuring that all relevant publications, documents, maintenance instruction, and necessary work package are up to date and available for the work to be performed.
* Ensuring that all Safety & Security procedures related to aircraft, staff, equipment, tools and facilities are adhered to and carry out investigation when and as required.
* Establish training program for J9 maintenance personnel and maintain records of all trainings, approval and work schedule of maintenance staff to ensure competency in system and procedures.
* Review and amend regularly the policy, procedures and associated forms pertaining to Maintenance department to comply with DGCA requirement and company policy.
* Respond to audit finding and Implement corrective actions to the Non Conformity raised during Audits.
* Participating in the negotiation of maintenance contracts to ensure that the maintenance requirements are clearly defined and the work to be performed is properly addressed.
* Review related Technical invoices received from the maintenance providers and reject or approve before submitting to the Head of Maintenance for final payment clearance.Participating in the negotiation of maintenance contracts to ensure that the maintenance requirements are clearly defined and the work to be performed is properly addressed.
* Coordinate with the maintenance providers the scheduling of required manpower, availability of tooling, equipment, parts, consumable materials and facility according to the work requirement.
* Arrange for a periodic meeting with the maintenance providers to discuss the related Technical matters and the means of resolutions through action plan and minutes of meetings.Coordinate with the maintenance providers the scheduling of required manpower, availability of tooling, equipment, parts, consumable materials and facility according to the work requirement.
* Develop the annual budget for aircraft maintenance and exercise tight control over expenditures.
* Assure proper allocation of Labor and material charges to the appropriate work order and cost center.
* Review Technical handling agreement throughout stations and establish pool requirement with other carrier as required to meet outstation need for spare parts.
* Ensure to preserve all parts/ component while under maintenance process and aircraft during short and long term storage process due to aircraft repair or no longer operated.
* Coordinate operational requirements, slots changes, maintenance ground time, decisions and actions, which effect other department of the company such as flight operations and commercial to assure proper flow of information and smooth operation of J9 fleet.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Holds a valid EASA B1 or B2 license with endorsement of A320 aircraft fitted with CFM and LEAP-1A engines.
* Has at least ‎10 years of aircraft maintenance experience in the application of aviation and in-depth understanding concerning regulatory and compliance obligations.
* Sound knowledge of aircraft engineering and maintenance activities.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to lead a multicultural team.
* Excellent planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
