About this opportunity
We are now looking for Ericsson 2nd Level Operations RAN Support Engineer who
will be responsible for Network Operations and Assurance activities including
3rd Level Support engagement and CSR handling. You shall ensure that the
services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to
Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. Hereby, you should be able
to keep time, performance, and quality according to Ericsson requirements and
customer contracts.
You will:
* Responsible for Network Assurance activities (Incident management, Problem Management, and Preventive Maintenance)
* Customer concern and engagement with Global Engineering in emergency cases and root cause analysis CSRs.
* Routine maintenance, audits, and health checks
* Product life cycle tracking.
* Network Integration, acceptance, and upgrade activities for Ericsson BSCs and RNCs
* Provide technical support to 1st-level operations and field teams.
* Provide regular updates & status collaborates with the customer.
* Analyze fault and performance trends, initiating action streams to reduce any potential risks
* Availability to work on a shift basis.
To be successful in the role you must have:
* Minimum bachelor 's degree in computer science or Engineering (IT, Telecom).
* Proven experience in a similar role (‎3 years)
* Ericsson 2G, 3G, and 4G Portfolio knowledge is a must.
* DUG, DUW, and Baseband cabinets HW knowledge
* IP, SDH networking knowledge
* NMS knowledge (ENM & OSS)
* NMS supporting tools knowledge (MOSHELL, CNA, Winfiol, SHM, SMO)
* MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook
* UNIX knowledge
* scripting languages (VB, Python) is a plus
* Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to learn new products
* Good English skills, both writing and speaking.
* Creative thinking and generating innovative ideas during work.
