Governmental Relation Manager

The role is based in Egypt, but the scope is global and few travel days should
be expected.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage interactions with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to secure the company's and project's reputation
* Managing interactions with government decision makers and key non-governmental organizations and institutions to support business development and mitigate risks
* Support and lead on developing and structuring political outreach on renewable energy in Egypt
* Support the interactions with government decision makers and key non-governmental organizations and institutions in Egypt
* Influence external framework conditions of sustainability related issues
* Study the objectives and policies in Egypt specific to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion
* Assessing and analyzing key policy trends, risks, and opportunities in Egypt within renewable energy
Who we are looking for - skills needed
We are looking for the right person to join us on this incredible journey,
where you will contribute to the department actives related to monitoring
political and regulatory developments.
As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
* ‎15+ years of overall Public Affairs & Regulatory experience. Preferably within the energy industry
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills and fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic
* Detail oriented, structured, and thrives to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time
* You are comfortable working in international environments with constant change
* Excellent interpersonal and collaborative team skills
* Fundamental need for knowledge and understanding about Egypt
