Job Description



  • Responsible for all sales & marketing, & local operations in region/region

  • Develop overall Sales & Marketing strategy for the region & ensure the development of supporting strategies by account & LOB, (working with LOB GMs).

  • Develop the annual business plan budget and targets for the region

  • Ensure annual region plans are developed by account.

  • Identify new potential opportunities for existing products in region.

  • Ensure the implementation & development of strong sales processes in region and accounts (with authority levels defined).

  • Determine and plan which accounts to develop & size of account teams.

  • Ensure the on-going maintenance & development of Industry knowledge by supporting & contributing to virtual industry Special Interest Groups (SIGs).

  • Ensure appropriate marketing & pricing strategies are developed for each country/account.

  • Maximize and monitor overall region sales forecasts against budgets, success of bids, customer satisfaction, account management effectiveness etc.

  • Monitor overall region competitive situation, opportunities and threats by account.

  • Ultimate escalation point for any region customer complaints issues (working with appropriate LOB GMs).

  • Develop appropriate region marketing plans (e.g. events, local presentations).

  • Responsible for any on-site operations in region (e.g. premises, local purchasing & contracting, local support functions, local employee relations & communications etc.)

  • Accountable to any in-region legal entity shareholders - attending Board meetings, ensuring financial compliance with local reporting requirements etc.

  • Provide effective team management - managing performance, providing motivational leadership, communication & feedback etc.

  • Provide feedback to in-region project teams.

  • Excellent command of English


Technical Skills



  • B.Sc. from any discipline preferably engineering background.

  • Not less than ‎20 years of experience in a relevant field and industry.

  • Project Management Certification preferred

  • MBA is preferred

  • Excellent sales and marketing skills
