Role purpose:
The role of transportation specialist is responsible for delivering the best
customer experience. The area serves all VFE employees eligible to use the
company transportation, works very closely with the customers ' spocs or
individually to ensure full adherence to the company's policy while providing
an excellent customer experience. The role involves dealing directly with the
service vendor to ensure full compliance & application of contractual terms &
conditions in addition to Health & Safety regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Transportation Service Delivery
* Implement a "customer First & Can-do attitude" culture within the transportation team
* Act as a focal point to coordinate with the vendor's supervisors to ensure fulfillment of Vodafone transportation requirements
* Communicate with the transportation vendor to handle any operational issues that may arise
* Handle daily tasks to ensure service is delivered in a timely and efficient manner
* Design & revisit, when necessary, bus routes to ensure they cover customers' requirements in light of the company's policy & procedures
* Ensure service continuity under special circumstances to avoid business interruption
* Monitor drivers' performance & attitude
* Apply health & safety rules on the transportation service to ensure vendor's compliance
* Raise H&S issues upon taking place & work closely with involved parties to solve them
* Find ways of managing the transportation service in a way that fulfills the company's strategy
2. Handling Customer Complaints
* Get customer feedback to ensure service is satisfactory to their needs
* Handle & solve customers' complaints to provide an excellent customer experience
3. Financial Role
* Review & approve/reject drivers' overtime to ensure cost efficient operation
* Review & approve/reject extra kilometres to ensure cost efficient operation
* Review vendor's invoices
* Minimize extra kilometres by efficiently operating the existing resources to cover customers' requests
4. Reporting
* Report drivers' overtime on a monthly basis
* Report extra kilometres on a monthly ways
* Report any H&S issues & communicate with involved stakeholders to cover them
* Report drivers' performance on a monthly basis & communicate with the vendor to handle any issues that may affect the service level
5. Ad-hoc Projects
* Conduct newly hired orientation sessions in cooperation with HR
* Handle ad-hoc projects as required

Bachelor's degree
Good ability to use Microsoft office.
Ownership & Decisiveness
Communication skills - intermediate
Good command in English
