Position Objective:
The person will be required to lead the assessment, review and audit of the
Data Governance systems and processes implemented in the co and enhance the
policy, and catalogue as per NDMO guidelines.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Manage data governance and data management activities including NDMO policies
procedures and data classifications.
Enhance maturity levels across the client's enterprise through regular data
maturity assessments, and compliance audits and suggest initiatives or
corrective actions.
Define roles and responsibilities concerning data governance and ensure clear
accountability for the stewardship of the main data assets.
Develop the data catalogue using market tools.
Review data architecture and information/ data flow maps and charts.
Build monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance in managing data across the
organization.
Lead quality check and quality control to ensure consistency in maturity level
without any exceptions.
Provision of technical guidance and expertise to resolve data management
disputes across client's systems.
Frequent scanning of data regulatory requirements at all levels (national and
international).
Ensuring relevant updates in data regulations are captured and reflected.
Tracking and managing all open complaints concerning data and developing a
resolution plan.
Ensure relevant data privacy controls are applied, and effective monitoring
and compliance activities are performed in alignment with the client’s
Cybersecurity team.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management,
Architecture, classifications and quality control including min 2-3
implementation of NDMO Policies in KSA or similar guidelines in another
country.
Strong hands-on expertise in Data warehousing tools and best practices for
Data Management and Governance which includes Data Models, Data Architecture,
and Data type/classifications.
Ideal candidates will also have a CDMP certification.
Hands-on experience in conducting maturity assessments, finding the areas to
work on, making robust plans and implementing after cross-team discussions.
Hands-on expertise in Data Catalogue and Informatica tools for Data Management
like Data Dictionary.
