We have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to be based in Riyadh.
The incumbent is responsible for working as a part of a cross functional
leadership team to drive business performance, by combining knowledge of the
Smith & Nephew commercial environment with insights from financial analysis.
By combining finance expertise with business acumen, the Finance Business
Partner constructively challenges the business and provides valuable insight
to ensure optimal decision-making outcomes. This includes evaluating
investment opportunities, identifying efficiency and cost improvements, and
identifying and mitigating commercial risk.

Essential Job Functions
Key Performance areas:
* Financial Performance Management. Promote action on commercial opportunities and risks that impact financial performance (based on analysis of performance indicators aligned to business strategy).
* Decision Support. Discuss forward looking and actionable financial insights, and drive financial decisions that sustain market share, support growth, and enable the allocation of resource to strategic priorities.
* Business Strategy, Planning and Forecasting. Deliver commercially focused challenge to business leaders that help them to set appropriate performance targets, backed up with action plans.
* Influence the business and its functional stakeholders to ensure rigor in decision making. This will involve providing commercial and financial insight in many areas of the business including, but not limited to, sales force effectiveness, customer and portfolio profitability, asset efficiency, pricing strategy and commercial risk management.
* Identify, lead and drive innovation and change initiatives in the organization. Support the business and its functional stakeholders in the implementation and monitoring of business initiatives.
* Partner with the business or its functional stakeholders to manage external relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes for the business.
Required experience and qualifications
* Finance degree
* A minimum of ‎5 years post qualified experience gained in either a practice environment and/or a large corporate Finance function
* Experience and background in healthcare/life sciences is desirable
* Must be able to speak and write in English and Arabic
