The Maintenance Supervisor's main responsibility is to coordinate the workflow
of the maintenance requests and requirements; organize & direct tasks of the
team and provide support for Sr Engineer as needed; performing preventative
maintenance and repairs.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Deliver on maintenance requests quickly and to a high quality result
* Direct team with focus and understanding; acting with integrity and respect
* Directly provide maintenance and repairs when required
* Promote and maintain high employee morale
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Saftey requirements, policies and procedures
* Maintain safe work conditions and safe work practices
* Evaluate the training needs and assist in the training of assistants
* Keep the maintenance facilities clean, safe, organized and operational at all times
* Develop Preventative Maintenance procedures
* Obtain pricing and ordering of parts for the maintenance department when needed
* Provide Monthly Report
Required Education / Skills
* Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent. PMP certified is preferred
* 5+ years' experience in handling multi-site projects, of which some must be in the retail sectors
* Must have experience in maintenance of retail outlets
* Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, & planning skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
* Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
* Flexibility to work all days and shifts, including overtime on request/as needed
* Good planning and vast influence in the constructions industry
* Professional approach in building techniques and infrastructural development
* High skillsin advanced IT software and packages related to the constructions and development field
* Ability to work and delivery under pressure
* Adaptability and flexibly to handle many changes in a workday
* Process driven, highly structured and compliant
* Well versed in Microsoft office applications (such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint…).
