About this Role:
The Immigration HR Associate supports business unit clients by providing first
line support for HR issues, concerns and programs. This individual is
responsible for communicating and responding to basic policy and procedure
inquiries, benefits questions, and training matters alongside owning the full
immigration and visa process for Middle East offices (Saudi, UAE and Qatar).
Assists the HR partner team with data analysis, change management and talent
management activities, organizational design and compensation initiatives, and
management of projects.
What you 'll do:
Provide strong business unit partnership and general administrative support to
the HR partner teams and overall HR department and respond to inquiries from
associates across the Middle East.
* Ensure that all the federal and governmental Departmental (Ministry of Labor/ Immigration Dept./Economic Department.) applications and processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner in line with the demands of the Business.
* Process and analyze HR data for reporting purposes such as turnover tracking and headcount analysis.
* Takes initiative to respond to questions from associates regarding payroll, benefits, Immigration and visas, etc. in a timely manner and resolves routine problems.
* Ensure that all documents presented to any local or federal government body are completed and compliant with the purpose for which they are intended and provide advice and guidance too internal and external stakeholders where required.
* Maintain an up to date and accurate register of the status of all document submissions including, but not limited to, Entry Permits, Cancellations, Visa Approvals and original Labour Contracts (Company copy), Bank Guarantee records etc., and proactively follow up with the body to which the application has been submitted
* Ensure that all employees working within the company are compliant with local and federal legislation and regulations, including, but not limited to, Labour Cards, Visa Approvals, Medical qualifications and criminal declarations or any other approval that may be required.
* General HR Administrative tasks include: maintaining employment files and records per company policy and legal regulations. Updating personnel transactions in the HRIS system. Provides verifications of employment. Maintain HR paperwork, to include processing terminations, transfers, and job title changes.
What you 'll need:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Bi-lingual with excellent written and verbal English and Arabic
* Administrative experience, preferably in Immigration, Government Relations and Human Resources
* Outstanding customer service skills and sense of urgency in a services environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and ability to handle sensitive documentation.
* Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to apply business rules.
* Strong report-writing/data analysis skills and a solid understanding of HR and employee data.
* Effective research and project management skills.
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with HRIS systems preferred.
