We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant and
Public Relations Officer to join our team. The purpose of the role is to
provide full clerical, administrative and general office duties, supporting
middle to upper-level management in the Middle East & Africa Region. The role
also acts as Public Relations Officer to ensure immigration compliance to the
relevant labour market regulations in each country in the region.
Catalyst Technologies (CT) is a market leader in the Formaldehyde value chain.
It develops and supplies high-value, specialty process technology and
catalysts for chemicals and fuels processing to enable our customers to
operate efficiently, profitably and sustainably. With CT at the forefront of
the transition to sustainable chemicals and fuels, the transition to net zero
is creating exciting new opportunities in this sector.
Your responsibilities:
* Communicate to the Regional Head of Sales, MEA instructions and collate information from other managers.
* Receive and screen telephone calls, letters, emails and/or visitors.
* Answer routine queries and provide information.
* Schedule appointments and arrange meetings, conferences, travel and customer visits.
* Co-ordinate conferences and functions for senior staff members and clients with multiple details including venues, travel & accommodation for attendees and facilitators.
* Maintain immigration compliance records internally and externally with the relevant labour market authorities, obtaining and renewing work permits for employees as appropriate.
Requirements for the role:
* Qualification or related relevant experience in administration and/or public relations.
* Understanding of administrative systems and processes.
* Proficiency in use of IT/Microsoft Office Programmes and other travel/expenses systems.
* Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders providing and requesting information as required.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and customers/vendors.
* Ability to respect confidentiality and develop an understanding of the fundamental activities of the sales team.
* Saudi National would be preferred.
* Must be able to travel to site.
