The Public Relations Officer will work as a liaison for the business with
various Government departments and with our service providers, Fragomen and
CITCO, to ensure maintenance of the legal status of the entity and the
employees in the country. The PRO will act as an expert and trusted advisor
for providing necessary advice to the business about the local government
regulations. This varied role will see you work closely with employees and
stakeholders to ensure processes are smooth and efficient. Responsibilities •
Initiate visa applications and renewals via the Fragomen portal. • Assist with
visa applications and renewals (work permit, residence permit, transit visa
etc.) for expatriate employees and their dependent family members. Also ensure
they are up to date. • Responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding free zone
processes for employees of the company. • Arranging relevant visas and other
logistics for business travellers visiting UAE. • Responsible for maintaining
the government documents related to the entities, and ensuring they are kept
up to date. • Assist employees in processing visas to various countries where
employees travel for business purpose. • Ensure all legalities related to the
entities are in order and supervise any inspections by the government
departments. • Assist the business in matters related to DDA free zone
authorities. • Keep the business updated about any changes in the policy
and/or process related to employment and commercial establishment. •
Responding to staff queries on Visa/ Labour/ Passport related matters. •
Assist in all general inquiries concerning labour and immigration matters. •
Will provide administrative support as needed. Skills & Experience • Strong
customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer problems with
little direction or guidance • At least 5 years' experience as PRO in the UAE,
preferably within the DDA free zone • Strong communication skills and good
command of English and preferably Arabic • Excellent networking and
interpersonal skills • The ability to manage and handle multiple commitments
simultaneously • Knowledge of Microsoft Office package • A UAE driver's
