Our Client: A leading utility construction company, managing diverse
construction projects for both Electrical and Mechanical works across the
Kingdom is looking to hire an IT Head.
Your Role: As the IT Head, you'll be responsible for leading the charge on
tech-related right from infrastructure to software development. You'll need to
be a strategic thinker with a sharp mind for budget management and an eagle
eye for emerging trends in the tech space. Managing the implementation of IT
projects related to the EPC contract, including project planning, resource
allocation, risk management, and monitoring and controlling project budgets
and timelines. Ensuring that all data related to the EPC contract is managed
appropriately and securely, with a focus on Oracle databases and related
systems. Establish governance RACI matrix and policy for the IT department in
the company. Manage the selection of qualified IT staff; Application Manager
and all Oracle function experts.
Must-Have: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field is typically required. Candidates for this role
typically have at least 15-20 years of experience in IT project management,
preferably in the engineering and construction industry. Experience managing
large-scale projects is preferred. Experience working with Oracle systems is
required. The candidate should have Oracle certification, such as Oracle
Database Administrator Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Associate,
Oracle Certified Professional, or other relevant certifications. The ability
to lead and motivate a team is essential, as is the ability to work
collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels. Candidates should have
experience managing complex IT projects from conception to completion, with a
track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
