faster delivery intra cities with Same Day delivery and 2 hours delivery. We
aim to deliver Ecommerce parcels as fast as delivering pizza!
WeDeliver raised the largest pre-seed $2.4 million round for its B2B
crowdsourced delivery platform in Saudi Arabia and the third-largest for a
start-up in the MENA region up-to-date.
About the job
As our Director of Finance you will be accountable for all financial
activities, reporting on revenue, training accounting staff, budgeting,
disbursing funds to departments, managing risk, implementing policies, and
improving financial processes. To be successful in this role, you will need to
steer and manage the financials and develop and align with the corporate
structures. Your experience of instilling a strong governance and compliance
culture will be crucial and you will need strong operational acumen to work in
a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Ultimately, you will safeguard our
company's financial health and increase profitability in the long run.
You will be responsible for driving the financial planning of the organization
by analyzing its performance and risks. Further responsibilities include
retaining constant awareness of the company's financial position and
maintaining the highest levels of integrity. Also, optimizing and overseeing
the company's finance system falls under the responsibility of the Director of
Finance.
What do we expect from you?

Direct and plan financial strategy with full P &L responsibility.
* Provide financial, and strategic support to key business stakeholders.
* Lead and coordinate business planning, budget and forecast process'.
* Lead the overall financial operations.
* Plan work and allocate tasks to finance team and administration.
* Managing the network of the insurance and bank's related tasks.
* Develop and Analyze the financial performance.
* Ability to Develop the business requirements of the Finance system.
* Responsible for compliance topics and alignment with company policies and procedures.
* Manage financial communication and knowledge.
* Drive continuous improvements.
* Contribute to the leadership and management of the company.
* Design, maintain and develop the business performance agenda.
* Lead the valuation and investments process with the Investment committee.

* Academic record (Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar) or qualified by experience, preferred SMEs experience.
* A minimum of 7 years of working experience in finance, accounting, investment.
* Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role.
* Accurate, structured with strong analytical and arithmetical skills and big.
* attention to details, combined with "hands-on" mentality to solve short term challenges.
