Your Role and Responsibilities
Our Onboarding team is focused on delivering a signature, a WOW experience for
our new joiners. As an Onboarding Specialist, you are the first point of
contact for a new IBMer from offer acceptance stage through to post joining,
and focal contact for the hiring manager throughout the multiple
documentation, visa and joining date stages. You are responsible for preparing
the new hire for their IBM career and ensuring that everything is ready for
their arrival at IBM on day ‎1. You will also support them through their first
weeks while ensuring the manager is prepared to receive their newest IBMer. To
be successful as an IBM Onboarding Specialist, you will need the following
skills:
* Saudi Iqama, Employment and Labour Law knowledge

* Advanced English - written and verbal communication skills

Tasks
You will be the focal and first point of contact for our new employees and
hiring managers from offer accept through to joining.
* Coordinating requests and delivering all provisioning items by new hire's start date
* Facilitating Induction classes along with the EMEA onboarding Specialist
* Welcoming new employees, facilitating paperwork completion and processing, induction presentations, accountability in understanding current IBM business/structure/strategy/ news
* Ensure employee data collected at onboarding stage reaches HR system(s) in a timely manner
* Comply with local government requirements in a timely manner
* Updating the internal immigration tools.
You will have the opportunity to link with other HR departments since
Onboarding connects with the business, recruitment teams, immigration,
payroll, IT, compensation and benefits, and Graduate hiring.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Saudi Iqama, Employment and Labour Law knowledge

* Presentation Skills to small and large groups
* Advanced English - written and verbal communication skills
* Has experience to work in matrix organization.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
‎2-‎3 years previous Onboarding / Recruitment Support or co-ordinator
