Job Description
* Document financial transactions by entering account information
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
* Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
* Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
* Participate in handling inter-company cost allocations
* Perform month-end prepayments and accruals
* Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
* Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
* Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
* Assist in preparing the taxation reports
* Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with laws and regulations
* Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the setup
* Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
* Handle all external parties such as social insurance authority, banks, and suppliers
Qualifications
* BSc in Accounting, Finance
* 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar position within a corporate organization
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel
* Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic
* Good knowledge of the accounting cycle, principles, and procedures
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and people skills
