Financial Analyst
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Financial Analyst to join our
team!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Collect and analyze financial data related to each project and prepare recommendation for business decisions prior to the financial data being endorsed by CPO
* Review financial models and cost estimates to evaluate potential financial performance / budget for each project or initiativation
* Serve as custodian of all financial data related to current and future pipeline of projects across the program
* Assess the financial impact of business decisions for each project and financial impact across the entire the program
* Actively monitor latest project trends and make recommendations to management if there is potential financial impact during project delivery
* Provide active support to develop & manage budgeting, cost estimation process to ensure financial stability and control across all projects
* Daily communication and coordination with client's Finance team to validate the financial data maintained in PRISM and ensure effective budget control is maintained
* Prepare Weekly Financial reports for all projects managed and highlight recommendations to management for corrective actions
* Ensure strict adherence to budget control and cost estimation SOPs and highlight any concerns or improvement areas to management
* Review the financial reports shared by Consultants and prepare comments in coordination with client's Finance team
* Oversee all financial transactions related to and validate payment terms & invoices for each project as defined by signed contracts and approved budgets
* Review all Business cases, financial data and cost estimations prepared for Investment Committee or Cost estimates related to Variations that required TVC approvals
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* Experienced in the preparation of weekly Financial reports for Management review
* Ability to analyze financial data and prepare recommendations
* Revision of Business Cases and Cost estimations in timely manner
* Experience in the validation of financial data maintained in PRISM & ERP systems
* Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or business management
* Minimum 6 years of experience in financial data analysis
* Strong communication skills and expert fluency in reading, writing and communicating effectively in English
* Ability to work crossed all functional departments within a multi-cultural team.
* Extensive knowledge of policy conformance, practices, and standards required to meet business objectives
* Bachelor's degree in engineering .
* Understanding on a construction process and interfaces within the Aviation sector is advantage
