Analyst - ZSP

Job Description

As an Analyst at Zayed Sustainability Prize (ZSP), you will support the
planning and implementation of key processes in the ZSP, including but not
limited to research and analysis, development and monitoring of website and
online, submissions/judging portal, measurement of Prize's impact and
implementation plan of high schools projects.
Research & Analysis
* Work with the research and analysis partner to ensure the delivery of the following materials: submission forms, evaluation and eligibility criteria, scoring matrix and executive summaries.
* Support the team and the research and analysis partner to ensure proper due diligence is conducted on all entries.
* Carry out the necessary research and analysis to monitor the impact numbers of all previous winners as a result of the Prize fund.
Submissions/judging portal
* Support the team in managing the portal development for the submissions phase. Ensure integration with CRM.
* Monitor and analyse the portal's performance during the submissions phase and troubleshoot and report the portal's problems, if any.
* Under the guidance of the ZSP management, respond to queries from entrants and other portal users by email or other forms of communication as required.
* Assist the line manager in coordinating with the hosting company to ensure the security and high availability of servers.
* Setup/configure the portal to provide administrative access to outreach partners.
* Setup/configure the portal for research and analysis partners.
* Setup/configure the portal for the judging phase (selection committee members).
* Keep track of entries' status during the submissions phase and report to the team as and when required.
* Assist with the evaluation process by providing support to the team and, under the guidance of the line manager, to the selection committee members to prepare necessary materials for the Jury meeting.
* Assist with the review of entries after the 'close of submissions' and identify impactful entries in each category.
* Carry out a first-level review of executive summaries to identify any anomalies and ensure consistency across all categories to the ZSP management.
* Assist the team in preparing, maintaining and subsequently updating the Selection Committee and Jury packs.
Analyses of the governance processes of the Prize
* Keep note of the prize entry process, including but not limited to implementing the submissions portal, monitoring of evaluations, monitoring/tracking progress against closing date etc., for reporting to the ZSP management.
* Assist with the entire cycle of prize submissions and operations.
* Conduct market research to prepare a long list of potential candidates for the Prize and support the ZSP management in their targeted outreach.
* Conduct market research to suggest potential members for the Selection Committee and Jury.
* Support the development of surveys to continuously improve the Prize's processes, activities and more.
* As and when required and under the guidance of the ZSP management, support the coordination of ZSP activities, including online submissions, marketing, outreach and stakeholder relations.
Support with school projects ' deployments
* Support the carrying out of workshops with all winning schools during ADSW to provide advice on project
plans.
* Assist with schools' project plans to ensure deployments occur on time and on budget, also the coordination of funding agreements between legal and winning schools.
Contribute to CSR initiatives and other engagements
* Under the guidance of the ZSP management, contribute to developing project plans for the Prize's CSR initiatives and other similar engagements.
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain relationships with internal departments/internal customers to ensure that they are provided with quality support related to ZSP.

  Qualifications & Experience.


• Technical / Higher Diploma in sustainability/environmental management, business, administration or related field.


• Bachelor's degree in sustainability/environmental management, business or a related field is an asset.


• ‎3-‎5 years of experience in a role involving research, analysis and support related to sustainability, environment and energy.


• Experience working for a similar type of high-profile prize or major event would be an asset
