About the School
Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi will be a UK curriculum day school
enrolling students from Early Years to Year ‎13 in the city 's prestigious
residential district Al Reem Island, next to the Sorbonne University campus.
Our new school will have the capacity for ‎2,600 students upon completion. Its
first phase of development, opening in September ‎2023, will include the Early
Years building and sports facilities, while the second phase opening in Summer
‎2024 will include the main Primary and Secondary classrooms.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled ADEK Liaison Officer to join
our team. As an ADEK Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating
effective communication and collaboration between the School and the Abu Dhabi
Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). Your role will involve
understanding and interpreting ADEK processes, policies, guidelines, and
requirements and supporting the School 's ongoing compliance with them. You
will serve as a point of contact for ADEK, coordinating meetings,
disseminating information, and addressing any concerns or queries from both
parties. This position requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and
organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of educational
policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary liaison between our organization and ADEK.
* Facilitate student registration and staff licensing via the ADEK portals.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ADEK policies, guidelines, and requirements.
* Support the Schools continual compliance with ADEK regulations and standards.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings between our organization and ADEK representatives.
* Communicate relevant information, updates, and changes from ADEK to internal stakeholders.
* Provide advice and guidance to internal teams on ADEK-related matters.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ADEK-related processes and propose improvements.
* Prepare reports and documentation as required by ADEK.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within the education sector.
* Familiarity with ADEK policies, guidelines, and regulations is highly desirable.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
* Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
