We are seeking a talented Business Performance Analyst to join the Revenue
Management and business planning team and help optimize the business top line
(attendance and revenues). The successful candidate will have a proven track
record in analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights to
improve revenue and attendance growth.
Responsibilities
* Analyze historical attendance and revenue data to identify trends and patterns
* Support the monthly forecast process for theme park attendance and revenue
* Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in revenue and attendance
* Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into the theme park's performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to optimize business performance and drive growth
* Prepare presentations and reports to communicate insights to senior management
* Conduct post-mortem analysis on seasons, events, and activities to identify opportunities for improvement
* Conduct market and competitive research to inform business strategy and identify new opportunities for growth
* Monitor industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date on theme park revenue and attendance optimization strategies
* Provide analytical support for special projects and initiatives as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
* Bachelor or Mastera€™s degree in Business administration, Finance, economics or related field
Years of Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in business performance analysis, preferably in the theme park or hospitality industry
Skills:
Essential:
* Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and proficiency in managing and analyzing substantial volumes of data.
* Ability to interpret the storyline from complex data and communicate that to non-technical stakeholders.
* Growth driven mindset with attention to detail and pro-active approach to things
* Resourceful, entrepreneurial, and autonomous in building and owning workstreams.
* Able to prioritize, adapt and manage multiple responsibilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel (Macros are a plus).
Desirable:
* Exposure to data visualization and dashboard creation using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
