You as a Factory Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in EL
Sharkia, Egypt. Reporting to the Operating Unit Manager, you shall be leading
the operations function at local level, with full accountability of running
the day-to-day operation and to overachieve expectations through lean,
faultless operational execution, in an extended value chain and at the lowest
total cost.
Your responsibilities
* People Leadership and Development: Taking accountability to build an effective, capable, and high-performing organization. Developing talent, reviewing organization effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuous skill-upgrade across the LPG/LBU/Site.
* Strategy: Executing a customer focused operations strategy for the LGB/LBU/Site, derived from the overall business and functional strategy developed for the business unit or hub. Accountability for its relentless execution.
* End to End Operation : Accountability for a sustainable and effective E2E value-chain for the LPG/LBU/Site from customer to supplier and from order to delivery. Taking accountability for the effective deployment of the respective procurement and logistics strategy. Establishing and running an effective S&OP process for the LPG/LBU/Site, accountable for its results.
* Operations or Project Management: Being accountable to deliver 4C targets for operations, safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. Deploying and managing integrated project management system for project execution.
* Quality: Being accountable for the effective deployment of Hitachi Energy 's quality strategy for the. Taking responsibility for quality assurance, quality control and for the implementation of an integrated quality management system.
* Continuous improvement & customer satisfaction: Taking accountability for the development and continuous improvement of business processes and procedures and of the overall customer satisfaction. Engineering and Manufacturing process: Establishing governance mechanisms to drive and ensuring compliance for the LPG/LBU/Site. Adjusting engineering and manufacturing resource with workload optimizing use of global operational centers as applicable.
* Budget and performance management : Defining and delivering the annual budgets for the CapEx and OpEx expenses. Effectively balance installed capacity with customer demand and workload.
* Standards, Governance and Risk Management : Ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, policies, and procedures related to operations / project execution. Being accountable for operational risk management, validates and improves reliability and effectiveness of business operations.
* Safety and integrity: Living Hitachi Energy 's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
* A bachelor 's degree in any field is required.
* Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical background is preferred.
* Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
