Factory Manager

JOB PURPOSE:
Being responsible for the technical & resource management, supervision, and
control of production processes to ensure production targets are met.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Responsible for monthly production target.


• Being held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).


• Plan, organize and coordinate production.


• participating in weekly S&OP meetings


• Acting as subject matter expert for all operational processes and procedures.


• strive to achieve ‎100% of monthly production forecast.


• Ensuring material availability at each work center.


• Having the ability to interpret, train individuals of production work instructions. Coordinate with foremen on each section for briefing and managing output.


• Setting daily target for each work center based on product type.


• Managing & Optimizing resources within the factory -Coordinate with night shift foreman to set work center wise target and monitor the output. Managing and rearranging work force based on daily target.


• Monitor daily progress and make changes if necessary.


• Team leadership - Managing & leading a team of supervisors, technicians & production workers by providing guidance, setting performance objectives, conducting performance evaluations & fostering a positive & productive work culture to ensure targets set are met.


• Quality assurance - Ensuring all products incoming and outgoing meet quality standards, conduct regular inspections & implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure the integrity and quality of the manufactured items. Tests and inspects materials during and after production.


• Responsible for driving cost-cutting initiatives.


• Assisting team for conducting VAVE drives.


• Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as productivity, efficiency & quality. Maintaining accurate production records.


• Being the point of contact in between production and support areas to resolve day-to-day operational issues.


• Working closely with QHSE Director to implement all initiatives and procedures.


• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed within the factory environment.


• Enhance Operational Efficiency; Identify areas for process improvements.


• Training employees on work instructions, new products and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
* Engineering diploma/Degree
* ‎5+ years' experience as production in charge.
* Good proficiency in Excel
* Door industry experience will be strong advantage.
