Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Control Intern to join our offices
in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities include:
* Implement the planning and cost systems as defined within the departmental procedures
* Monitor and reviews construction schedule and cost performance
* Manage construction budget changes and transfers and facilitates processing of project variances
* Produce the construction project cost and progress reports per Procedure
* Assist in the preparation of weekly progress report
* Supervise the development and maintenance of all forecasts for field cost and schedule and forecast for cash flow and profit and loss
* Identify and analyze potential project problems and recommends corrective action and follow up on recommendations
* Promotes communication and teamwork within group and project
* Assist in the preparation of the Job End Report as it relates to project control
* Assist in producing and maintaining the Project Control Execution Plan
Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or relevant fields
* Effective oral, presentation and written communication skills; listens and gets clarification
* Provides regular performance feedback
* Solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external)
* Presents numerical data effectively
* Understands business implications of decisions
* Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
