Job Main Scope:
Manage Packaging Procurement NALI for wood Base & Contact Flexible portfolios.
To provide support and contribute to procurement initiatives for Packaging in
NALI Region. Provide support to the Procurement Manager and Team.
Job Key Responsibilities:
* Packaging procurement to meet goals & objectives in NALI and to overall Packaging strategy.
* Support development and implementation of Unilever procurement strategies and policies
* Drive and deliver cost savings based on sourcing strategies and compliance management.
* Prepare, Run and Support Procurement Manager with the tendering process and the subsequent analysis.
* Support team activities in accordance with the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan
* Support the financial analysis of the portfolio, including price benchmarking and total cost analysis
* Run the Pricing Forecast execution in line with global guidelines (feedstocks, Anaplan etc)
* Driving various KPIs (e.g. Savings, Commodity prices, Portfolio and Market updates, Payment Terms Tracker, ZBB, Resilience, Sustainability, Supplier Performance, etc)
* To support complexity reduction programs for the Team
* To support the management of supplier relationships
* Support Procurement Director, managers on presentations and updates for internal and external audience.
* Prepare information on prices to enable proper forecasting and forecast variance analysis as needed.
* Support security of key materials through the development of contingency plans and alternative materials/suppliers, working with Procurement teams
* Run cross-team championship projects/tasks to support overall delivery of Packaging deliverables.
* Support in engaging with R&D for alternate material approvals / formulation changes, and at times lead regional implementation of global projects involving Packaging.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
* At least 5 years' experience in Packaging whether Procurement or Supply Chain.
* Supply market and FMCG knowledge is a must
* Fluent English
* Project management background
* Strong Analytical Skills
* Strong command of MS office (Excellent Excel)
* Strong Communications, Negotiation & presentation skills
* Strong Financial acumen for business cases and reporting.
* Able to work in fast paced environment and manage timelines & targets
* Good understanding of suppliers and the external competitive environment in Packaging industry.
* Previous proven Experience related to the elbow
* Previous experience / good knowledge related to digital tools & platforms (example: PowerBi)
* Cost models
* Packaging technologies and innovations
* Procurement transformation projects, tools and technologies
