What you can expect from The Role:
* Collecting, monitoring, and analyzing market information & market insight, providing analysis to support price forecasts & negotiation strategy of the related categories.
* Support the team in delivering KPIs such as buying productivity/buying competitiveness, alternative supplier studies, cash, sustainability, value chain projects, etc.
* Handling operational issues when they arise.
* Being in close relationships with Global Procurement teams to create opportunities & synergies with different UL regions.
* Following up on the procurement projects' action plans and making sure the execution is in line with the timeline.
* Verifying supplier compliance, weekly reviewing and tracking on supplier's compliance status.
* Responsible for signing materials specs with suppliers & executing procurement contracts.
* Responsible for the new supplier identification process on the UL portal.

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
* Analytical thinking and proven ability to solve problems and sustain results through a data-driven process.
* Fluency in English
* Efficient Time management - Multitasking
* Must be a self-starter with strong accountability & responsibility.
* Must be strong on execution, have analytical skills, and be proactive.
* Must be able to work independently and virtually.
* Must be able to build relationships with people across the business (internally & externally).
