Objective of Position
As Procurement Senior Specialist, shall be responsible for providing strategic
price negotiation approach to manage our company's procurement activities.
This includes achievement sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased
products and materials meet specific technical specifications, negotiating
purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance. The purchasing specialist
will also be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any
supply issues or discrepancies. Further, the role holder is responsible o
develop efficient procurement solutions and support senior management with the
development and implementation of sourcing strategies. Ultimately, an
outstanding purchasing specialist should have excellent communication and
negotiation skills, be an analytical thinker, and demonstrate a good working
knowledge of purchasing strategies.
Main tasks
Researching and identifying prospective suppliers and joining the sourcing
committee of selection

Liaising with internal project LC teams and maintaining strong supplier
relations.

Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
*
Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and
conditions.
*
Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
*
Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns
*
Contract review and annex update of new prices based on annual review
*
Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving
shortcomings
*
Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the
development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
*
Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory cost and procurement
records
*
Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
*
Settlement with IDA export value of LC suppliers invoices to ensure no cost
impact
*
Assure all payment to LC suppliers on time and issue all necessary payment
order without any delay with full coordination with other involved
departments.

Assessing all cost elements and drive the negotiation with supplier to achieve
annual budget of LC part price target
*
Educational Background
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Technical knowledge
Reasonable know-how of local content, price structure, cost elements and
automotive feeding industry in Egypt (suppliers, management, projects and
regulations)
Soft skills/individual competence
Project Management knowledge and practice
Proven Business knowledge and Expertise
Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and operationalize business
strategies
Excellent command of English language
Excellent computer skills
Strong Leadership & interpersonal skills
Good overview about tools & equipment as well as external contractors,
suppliers & companies
