POSITION SUMMARY
The packaging specialist leads in delivering innovation and renovation
portfolio and/or driving continuous improvement with the factory to optimize
filling and packaging line performance and packaging quality. As well as
developing and launching packaging solutions in line with consumer/customer
requirements or driving factory improvement initiatives while ensuring
packaging safety, quality, functionality, and sustainability objectives are
being met in a cost-efficient manner. Collaborating internally and externally
to build relationships to continuously improve technical skills and personal
development.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
* Manage the development and introduction of new packaging within the factory complying with PS&C standards.
* Lead packaging technical projects, support factory and marketing in terms of projects/ initiatives related to packaging such as products, processes and technologies.
* Ensure compliance with both Nestle policies and procedures and legislative requirements during any packaging project.
* Support the business by identifying and implementing cost saving projects on packaging materials or pallet pattern improvement for logistical efficiency for both factories and co-manufacturers.
* Lead implementation of Nestle MENA Sustainability Roadmap in FOOD Category.
What will make you successful?
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Food Chemistry or Food Technology.
* 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in packaging, AG, manufacturing or quality.
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability.
* Demonstrate strong project management skills.
* Fluent in English and Arabic.
