Sales Manager
Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests
who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your
property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.

  • What you will be doing:

    • Generates new accounts within assigned segments. Provides the Sales Centre Team (Reactive) with sufficient leads to achieve budget/goal.

    • Solicit group, transient and/or banquet business, and reach consistent achievement of sales objectives

    • Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices and seal contracts

    • Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events

    • Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details

    • Determines with the Director of Sales/ Assistant Director of Sales the pricing strategies regarding his/her specific segment.

    • Keeps track of the competitor's activities, special promotions and rate packages.

    • Ensures the Movenpick Sop's are in place and adhered to.

    • Monitors monthly results and performance of assigned accounts. Explains ups and downs of their business volume.

    • Communicates effectively to ensure that the sales function is carried out smoothly and commitments are met.

    • Builds up good rapport with the other hotel departments.

    • Administrational

    • Carries out administrative duties.

    • Maintains the companies' mailing list to ensure that all contacts are entered and updated.

    • Submits sales activities reports on a weekly basis outlining:

    • Total number of call with details

    • Past month activities

    • Room production against budget and goals

    • Major current and upcoming business leads

    • Entertainment report

    • Top twenty accounts' production

    • Competitor's major events

    • Upcoming projects

    • Utilize Opera for reports and updates.

    • Financial

    • Achieves sales objectives and goals as set by the management

    • Keeps a finger on the posed regarding pricing in the market place; rooms as well as Food and Beverage

    • Checks market information and performance of the competitive hotel revenues.


    • Your experience and skills include:



    • Pervious Sales & Marketing experience in ‎5 star hotels essentially required

    • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

    • Highly responsible & reliable

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required

    • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

    • Proficient in Microsoft Offices and reporting
