Job Description:
Based at the ongoing Yanbu Industrial City Program, Parsons are looking to
employ a Senior Accountant to join its existing Finance Team.

As a Senior Account you will have the following daily duties and
responsibilities:
* Prepares, distributes, revises, coordinates approval process, and finalizes monthly client bills.
* Ensures monthly invoices are submitted to client by a pre-established due date.
* Prepares post submission responses to client queries on bills.
* Establishes Excel-based invoices in client-prescribed formats, which often require the development and maintenance of automated spreadsheets to prompt the user for required information.
* Establishes procedures, routines, and related documentation regarding billing and contract maintenance.
* Prepares billing and other account reconciliations.
* Prepares monthly cost/revenue accruals, preliminary GP estimate and other financial reports.
* Reviews costs and assists in identifying variances between actuals and forecasts.
* Maintains invoice register and other excel based financial trackers.
* Troubleshoots billing errors, reconciling differences between billed and cost amounts.
* Investigates and resolves audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
* Provides support for the Annual Program Budget
* Contributes to the development of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
* Supports accounting staff as required or assigned.
* Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
We only seek applicants with the following experience, qualification and
credentials:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
* Thorough knowledge of contract provisions regarding client invoicing and payment processes.
* Strong math skills and understanding of the accounting and billing processes.
* Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other Office tools.
