Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wastewater Specialist to join
our team! In this role you will get to i ntegrates the various engineering,
design, scheduling, purchasing, construction, and start-up aspects of a small
project, or portions of a larger project or study in accordance with
contractual obligations. Responsibility for the technical excellence of the
engineering portion of the project across disciplines is assumed by the
Project Engineer. Field engineering experience or a broad general engineering
background is required. Relocation to the project site may be required. .
What You'll Be Doing:
* Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitoring progress to maintain those schedules and budgets.
* Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel with other Project Engineers. Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the Company.
* May prepare detailed designs utilizing appropriate design criteria and technical manuals. Interprets and ensures conformance to all applicable standards and codes and Company policies/procedures. Works closely with Engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated design systems.
* May assist the assigned Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study. Helps determine the technical skills and staff hours required.
* Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines. Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client.
* Prepares technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and management.
* Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
* Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* The expert should have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the management, supervision, planning of water and wastewater projects. The last five (3 years of his experience shall be with large international consultant.
* Should have a University degree in civil engineering or other equivalent engineering discipline, fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
* He shall have excellent report writing skills as well as excellent presentations
