Your Mission
This is a high-profile role, with an emphasis on enhancing process governing
staff protection, sites security, traveler security, trust charter, and crisis
management. This position will work closely with the SE NEAL Head of Security,
county leadership and plant directors to drive our security strategy and
assist the businesses in achieving their objectives
Your Role - Magic happens when you bring great people together!
* Support the SE NEAL Head of Security in managing the implementation of the global security directives, enhancing the security personnel qualifications, and to cover for him in his absence.
* Responsible for developing, communicating and implementing the company's security policies, directives, procedures and programs that align with Schneider Electric Global Security directives, local laws and business mandates.
* Review, develop, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies, risk reduction measures and associated plans and procedures
* Manage requirement for contracted security workforce, including regular performance reviews, instituting developmental training to enhance work performance and team efficiency.
* Conduct regular structured internal audits, training and communication on security topics (raising awareness with all staff) with a view to continuous improvement and enhancement of security performance and knowledge
* Active monitoring of all business travellers coming to country/cluster, and coordinate security journey management services for executives visits and for travellers to high-risk areas within the country.
* Ensure expatriate and long-term assignees security in country - including accommodation, transport arrangements, evacuation planning etc.
* Develop and maintain the crisis management team and competency for the country/cluster. Assist with Business Continuity Planning and emergency response in the country
* Build strong network and relationship with other local companies, governmental agencies security peers, and appropriate foreign embassies.
* Actively participate in the regional Schneider security network, contributing to best practice sharing and MEA regional security projects as necessary
* Interface with leadership team and periodically brief them on security issues and concerns that have a potential to affect their business operations.
* Leadership and direction of the security team. Overseas security training to enhance their knowledge and skills.
* Investigate and report all security/ethical incidents/breaches, to identify future preventative action and communicate recommendations to all staff.

**Qualifications

About You**
Education: Bachelor's degree in security science from the policy or the
Military Academy in Egypt. Language requirements:
* Fluent in English
Experience: Five years as security manager in commercial organization
Skills requirements
* Security professional within a corporate/business environment, government service, loss prevention, police, or military security experience in Egypt.
* Able to influence senior management and decision makers
* Strong communications, presentation, and people skills,
* Capable of multi-tasking, problem solver, and decision maker
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results.
* Self-Motivated, resilient, have a positive "Can Do" customer-oriented attitude.
* Design and implementation of site security infrastructure
* Security risk management experience and skills
* Computer knowledge, and ability to work in a busy office environment a must.
* Demonstrates the ability to develop and enhance security programs.
* To act within the principles of company standards and business ethics
* Ability to exercise effective independent judgment and take appropriate action
* Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
* Understand the basics of cyber security,
* Experience of tendering for, and appointing, new static and mobile security providers
