For a Partner Africa Project between the Internationaler Bund e.V. (IB)
together with IHK-Projektgesellschaft Ostbrandenburg gGmbH (Chamber of
Commerce) and vocational training institutions in the Northern and Delta
regions of Egypt, we are looking for:
Operations & Admin/Finance Assistant in Egypt
Location: Sadat City, Monufia governorate, Egypt.
Type of contract: Full time (40 hours per week).
Contract duration: 01.09.2023 (one year, with possibility of extension until
30.11.2025).

The project to be implemented by the IB is funded through the PartnerAfrika
Programme of Sequa gGmbH within the framework of the Special Initiative on
Training and Employment of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and
Development (BMZ). The project "Skills4Trends" aims to promote - together with
selected local partners - decent employment through training geared to future
technological labour market trends and needs, incubation and partnerships with
companies in the Northern and Delta regions of Egypt.
Your tasks / responsibilities:
* supporting the Project Team Leader in developing and managing project plans, the preparation and implementation of project activities;
* organizational and administrative support for the Skills4Trands Project in close cooperation with and under the guidance of the Project Team Leader;
* preparing training and workshops budgets under the supervision of the Project Team Leader;
* preparing reports and presentations of the project activities in close cooperation with and under the guidance of the Project Team Leader;
* maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to the Egyptian partners' activities;
* provide technical and organisational advice to the project field staff at the Egyptian Partners to support the implementation of the project activities;
* maintain electronic and paper filing of relevant administrative and financial information;
* conduct and monitor financial operations within the Skills4Trands project in Egypt;
* prepare procurement process and procurement documentation according to the requirements and procedures:
* close cooperation with the international finance and controlling manager of IB.
Our requirements / Your qualifications:
* a national of Egypt;
* a Bachelor's degree in accountancy, business administration, management, or a related field;
* at least 5 years of experience in development cooperation projects or a related field
* the candidate should have at least three (3) years of experience in providing administrative, or financial/logistical support to project implementation at the field level;
* holding a ToT (Training of Trainers) certificate is an advantage;
* good knowledge and skills in the use of standard office software, such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
* high proficiency in the English and Arabic languages, written and spoken;
* candidates who reside in or are located near Monufia Governorate will have preference.
