All about the role:
This position is responsibel for testing and evaluating the processes to
locate inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements to quality,
productivity, safety, and cost.
What will you do:
* Support Plants Local ME Managers.
* Support in DVT & MVT.
* Participate / Lead in the manufacturing engineering projects in the plants analysing product and manufacturing methods.
* Identify solution for the improvement of the existing manufacturing processes focusing on productivity, labour efficiency and machinery utilization.
* Responsible for work station design in assembly, sub-assembly & technological areas.
* Analyse production capacity by area and keep it up to date.
* Rationalize plants layout.
* Support plants ME in the activities concerning new technologies introduction managed by the central team.
* Support efficiency and improvement programs concerning product quality, safety, energy and water consumption and maintenance.
* Design and Develop specification, acquisition, installation and commissioning of new assembly line, material handling equipment, systems and related equipment.
* Ensure Equipment, tooling and product quality requirements are met.
* Support and coordinate with Product Development and Industrial Design in the new product definition phase.
* Ensure Safety on all processes and procedures.
* Issue Work Instructions, SOP, and JDS.
* Ensure Environmental targets and requirements are met.
* Lead the PFMEA for the new projects, and keep update at any change.
* Conduct the process training for shop floor operators.
* Work within budget and project time plan.
* Manage implementation of engineering changes on the production line.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechatronics/ Mechanical) are preferred
* Maximum ‎3 years of Experience.
* Communicative. You can communicate plans and articulate your ideas with colleagues at all levels.
* Team player. You nurture and develop the relationships that implement innovation.
* Analytical. With an eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data, you can also translate this into meaningful, useful information that informs decision-making.
* A leader. You have a vision and a purpose, and you can inspire and influence others to not only share it but apply their abilities to achieving it.
* Problem-solver & resilient. You see challenges as opportunities and chances to make things even better than before. Strong knowledge of Lean Tools / Six Sigma is preferred
* Computer skills with a high competence level in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Access etc.
* Project management skill is required.
* Open communicator.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to apply Lean manufacturing concepts.
* Auto CAD, MS Project & MS office tools.
* Good English language skills
* Good computer Skills
