TASK DESCRIPTION: The Deputy Site Manager reports directly to the Site
Manager and will assist the Site Manager with the KAF maintenance, supply, and
logistics efforts in support of the F/A-18 Weapon System. TASK REQUIREMENTS:
1. Reports directly to the Site Manager.2. Assists in the day-to-day
management of the KAF F/A-18 weapon system support.
This includes maintenance and logistic support (supply, training, facilities,
support equipment, etc.).3. Coordinate and manage CMS Information Technology
(IT), Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, GOLDesp, Joint Mission
Planning System (JMPS), and administrative operations in support of the KAF
F/A-18 support program.4. Ensures (CMS) efforts are performed efficiency and
safety.5. Coordinates Sub-contractor, Depot team and US Government team visits
with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Weapons System Liaison Officer
(WSLO) to ensure all team visits are productive and completed properly.6.
Provide expertise and advice to the Site Manager in support of the weapon
system, technical, and logistics matters for the most effective use of CMS
personnel.7. Provide assistance technical expertise, and training to KAF
officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians in the support of F/A-18 weapons
systems.8. Ensure CMS personnel perform KAF F/A-18 maintenance in accordance
with the KAMP.9. Support OJT and cross training of KAF personnel.10.
In the Site Managers absence directs all CMS operations and interacts with the
KAF leadership as required. MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prior
Aviation Maintenance Program Management experience and a minimum of 10 years
work experience in the fields of weapon system, organizational or intermediate
maintenance activity support management and supply with a minimum of two (2)
years supporting F/A-18 aircraft.2. A minimum of seven (7) years as a
maintenance officer/maintenance material control officer/maintenance chief
petty officer/civilian DoD contractor /manager responsible for weapon system
maintenance/logistics support.3.
A minimum of six (6) years experience supervising weapon system maintenance
support requirements.4. Experience in aircraft, airborne weapons, or support
equipment weapon systems.5. A US Secret Security Clearance is required.
