To Identify, originate and develop relationship with new and existing retail
merchants of all levels from different market segments, and to bring payment
solutions to the merchant and on board to them to the e-Commerce platform.
Operational Duties:
1. Responsible for servicing CBK POS/Payment Gateway Clients.
2. Works towards achieving timely and efficient provision of terminal sales
and after-sales services ensuring that terminals connected to KNET, Visa,
Master, Diners Club, AMEX Cards are marketed to the existing and potential
target market in the most efficient and professional manner.
3. Assist in creating the annual strategic marketing plan aimed at profiling
the competitive landscape, existing merchants and drawing Bank's current
market share and potential share. Seeks Unit Head formal approval on the plan
prior to implementation.
4. Communicates the approved marketing plan to the sales staff & Merchant
Help Desk Supervisors along with expected targets per team member, deadlines
and constraints. Maintains close weekly follow-up on Unit performance against
the elements of the marketing plan.
5. Visits potential clients personally as well as with the Head of Merchant
Sales unit to check for the competitive landscape and assess client needs.
6. Produces and ensures that Sales Agents produce Call Reports for every
potential client contacted or visited.
7. Drafts offer(s) for terminal installation and KNET, Master, Visa, Diners
Club & American Express Card Services addressed to potential clients.
8. Ensures proper documentation and signatures of received Applications from
the Sales team. Follow-up with Merchant's Help Desk Supervisor to ensure that
proper procedures are followed.
9. Discusses a loss making merchant's status with Unit head prior to taking
action with respect terminating service or raising rents and fees.
10. Holds meetings with KNET and other service providers regularly to discuss
new rates, terminals, services, any problems and related issues.
