Trade Sales and Service Officer
Organization Unit Purpose
Business Banking was set up as a separate vertical to manage all "non-
individual" relationships under CWM. Business Banking has always ensured that
the customers are placed on the right platforms so as to provide them with the
best products and services possible.Trade Finance is a very crucial aspect for
Business banking & SME Retail customers with at least 4000 active Emirates NBD
customers under both segments using a trade finance product. Trade advisory
and sales is a key value addition to the Business Banking proposition.
Job purpose
The incumbent will be responsible to provide advise to the existing clients on
trade products and services and penetrating the existing market & identifying
new customers. Additional tasks will include achievement of high levels of
service standards and maximization of client satisfaction timely advisory
services, Also, pitching in cash management products to the client.
Job Responsibilities
* Providing timely advisory services to customer on various Trade and Cash Management products
* Enhance growth of the Trade proposition within Business Banking and Retail SME segment and ensure growth of the trade active customers.
* Holding joint meetings with RM's & clients to act as a subject matter expert on trade
* Ensure maximum penetration of the local market including NTB customers for trade
* Focus on present customer base to enhance the trade business and revenue for the segment.
* Providing timely advisory services to customer on various Trade and Cash Management products
* Ensure minimum TAT's with the credit approval as per the SLA and within the units to ensure service excellence.
* To be conversant with the full range of SME banking products with special emphasis on trade products.
* Analyze existing process & recommend ways for increasing efficiency.
* Conduct Training Programs in liaison with Trade Manager for RM's & CSR's wherever required.
* Organize training sessions / work shops for clients whenever requested. .
* Update knowledge on the new developments, rules & regulations at trade front
* Proactively assist in developing innovative products which are new to the local market.
* Gather Market intelligence to develop new products.
