IT RESOURCE MANAGER

Job Purpose: Responsible for the design and implementation of the end-to-end
holistic resource management process in alignment with overall IT strategy on
people capacity management. Assist senior management in implementing the
overall strategies through efficient and effective processes that are designed
to have an optimally resourced work programme. Effectively manage stakeholders
by communicating and ensuring buy-in and alignment to the resourcing
processes. Participate in building a skills roadmap for the IT organisation.
Job Outline: - Establish a Resource Management medium and long term strategy
for integrated resource demand and supply in alignment with the overall IT
strategy for people and capacity to ensure delivery of the IT Investment
Portfolio within time and budget. - Develop, define and implement an overall
IT resource demand and supply management structure and process which
translates the above strategy into meeting resourcing needs for Portfolio and
Programmes. This includes designing effective demand forecast models and end-
to-end sourcing strategies covering all internal and external supply channels.
- Provide data driven insights to senior management based on effective
analytics on resource capacity planning. Successfully communicate forecast to
management through dashboards and regular reports to create transparency. -
Develop effective KPIs for IT Demand and Supply Management based on industry
trends and patterns. Set and monitor service levels for sourcing services and
optimize costs to manage budget. - Capture holistic IT level view of upcoming
capability and skills demand and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure a
link between skills required as per work programme plan and skills roadmap. -
Drive lean processes within the tool, reduce or eliminate duplication of
information input and usage of multiple systems. - Optimize resource
utilization by prioritizing high value work with available resource capacity.
Ensure that the right resources are available to support the strategic goals
of the portfolio programs and projects - Stay current with portfolio
management, demand, sourcing and capacity management best practices. Provide
people leadership and mentor PMO reps /others to help them build capabilities
for resource management. - Ensure a continuous and forward looking supply
pipeline is maintained for all IT Resources. Define a process to consolidate
all supply channels such as mainstream Recruitment, MSP provider, Statements
of Work and Skills Academy, to ensure timely and cost effective resource
supply management across multiple teams.
Qualifications & Experience: Information Technology. Other : ‎8+ Years Degree
or Honours (‎12+‎3 or equivalent) Experience of management experience of which
at least three years should be in resource management capacity. Knowledge: -
Stakeholder Relationship Management - Designing Resource Strategy - Process
design and implementation - Ability to coach team members Professional Skills:
Resource management methods & tools, relationship management, people
management, software development, business change management, and process
improvement. Very good level of business English communication skills, verbal
and written Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications is required. Safety
