Job Summary

Manages all aspects of small and medium Engineering/Service proposals and
projects, including commercial and technical risks, cost, schedule, and
quality.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of engineering scope in
the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality,
contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. Provides for the
successful staffing of the project. Applies knowledge of policies and
regulations to project scope. Manages and leads small and medium teams of
multi-discipline professionals. Coordinates and integrates the activities
associated with the engineering, procurement support, construction support
elements of the project team, including the activities of all third party
companies contributing to the project.
* Responsible for maintaining effective client relationships during project lifecycle.
* Accountable for project execution and financial performance:
* Manages multiple small to medium sized Services projects
* Manages multiple clients and/or projects
* Obtains new/repeat business; supports contract negotiations
* Manages risk which may include fixed price engineering, new technology or new clients
* Manages negotiations and change orders
* Manages legal issues
* Prepares cost estimates and execution plans according to client expectations and client's bid processes.

Other duties and responsibilities:
* Partners with sales directors and client account managers in strategic planning
* Engages in Client relationships and business development activities
* Provides local talent training and development

Management Responsibilities

Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project
team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent academic qualification.


• ‎10 years of Middle East industry experience in energy process industries and/or power generation


• Previous project management proposal and execution experience for Middle East clients for engineering scopes


• Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor 's degree or equivalent experience.

Certifications

Project Management Professional Certification or Equivalent

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Typical office environment: Sitting, Standing, Computer usage for extended
periods of time. Listening/Speaking/ Presenting. Ability to utilize
audio/video conferencing software for internal/external communication.
Typical construction environment: Awareness of job site hazards in an active
construction project site.
Travel to Project Site/ Client Site/ Client Offices as required by the role.
