Job Purpose: Manage and provide continuous leadership and development of the
EK Engineering Facilities, Facility Maintenance/Operations, Facility Projects
and Administration department. Ensure that the Facilities department fulfils
and supports aircraft maintenance and repair operations whilst achieving and
maintaining engineering standards required by the company and dictated by
Civil Aviation Regulatory Bodies and similar industrial bodies, including
local government and international regulatory requirements. Oversee and
implement the on-going development and maintenance of the Engineering
Facilities at Dubai International Airport and other EK Engineering external
locations in order to ensure such facilities provide and meet the full
requirements of the Engineering Centre Operation as it develops and grows.
Qualifications & Experience: Engineering.Maintenance Control : 10+ Years
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : - Managerial experience in Facility
Maintenance and Operations (preferably in the aerospace industry) with direct
responsibility for managing skilled staff and the control of substantial real
estate, equipment and systems and large budgetary accountability. - Proven
track record of managing high value assets in an aviation or heavy industrial
environment. Knowledge/skills: - In-depth knowledge of fire detection &
suppression, air conditioning systems, LV & HV electrical supplies, hydraulic
systems and 400Hz electrical supplies to aircraft. - Computer literacy
including knowledge of auto cad. Leadership Role : Yes
