Service Advisor - HINO Trucks | Commercial Vehicle Division

About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity for experienced Service Advisor who is
expected to receive customers, note down exactly the jobs required, provide
estimate with job explanations, prepare job cards, follow up the jobs in the
workshop, take approvals for additional repairs, inform any delays, deliver
the vehicle and explain the invoice to customers.

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager you are expected achieve the following:
* Build long-term relationships with customers to ensure customer retention & loyalty.
* Achieve financial objectives by upselling & discount control, to meet monthly revenue targets.
* Actively engage with the customer through consultation on customer needs & service requirements, through the whole service process, in order to ensure vehicle is fixed right the first time.
* Coodinate with the Production Team to ensure timely progress update of Vehicle to customers at all times to keep the customer informed and to maintain the on-time-delivery commitment.
* At the time of delivery (of the vehicle), ensure that the customer is provided detailed explanation of all work performed & cost associated with those repairs, for the customers to understand the value-addition of services rendered by the business.
* Effectively sell the service contracts for all the retail / fleet customers with maximum success ratio.
* Active compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures, Company policies & Distributor Programs to ensure consistency in the customer experience

About You:
The ideal candidate for this role must have the following qualification,
experience and skills:
* Diploma or Bachelor of Automobile or Mechanical Engineering graduate.
* ‎2 to ‎3 years overall experience as a Service Advisor in commercial vehicle industry, Trucks or buses division in particular.
* Experience with automotive dealer / distributor business processes, working knowledge of MS office, ERP (SAP) skills, customer handling skills and good communication skills. Logical thinking ability to understand the technical root cause of the problem with the vehicle.
