Reporting to the Head of Swimming, Cognita Middle East and its Enrichment
Academy,
EnrichME, are looking to recruit dynamic and experienced lifeguards to work
across our family
of schools within Dubai, UAE. The main purpose of the role is to supervise the
safety and
security of our pool users - be that students, staff, parents, and visitors -
carrying out rescues
as required. Basic pool maintenance and cleaning duties will also be required
of the role.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and growing aquatics team.
The successful
candidates will have a real passion for developing young children, ensuring
that every pupil
strives to achieve their full swimming potential, by creating and facilitating
an optimal learning
environment through building quality relationships with pupils, parents, and
staff.
Key Accountabilities
To maintain a vigilant watch of the pool and surrounding area
* Supervision of swimming activities at the school pool or aquatics facility, ensuring
compliance with policies, guidelines and safety procedures at all times
* Alerts swimmers of improper or dangerous activities whilst in or around the pool
* Regularly check the safety of the pool and pool equipment, immediately reporting any
damage to the EnrichME General Manager
* Rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, administering first aid in the
event of injury
* Perform regular inspection of pool facilities, equipment, and water in accordance with
the operating procedures, ensuring they are safe
* Supervise and assist with pool cleaning, and related facilities and equipment
* Assists swimming staff in teaching students the fundamentals of swimming, when
required
* Attend regular Lifeguard training sessions to ensure ongoing personal development
and compliance of the role requirements.
This role is based across several Dubai schools.
