The Role Responsibilities

Purpose of the role will be to aid the advancement and articulation of the
Sustainable Finance (SF) strategy. Strong interpersonal skills highly
developed written and verbal communication, strong drive and detail oriented
with strategy and analytical experience.
Overall Responsibilities
* Support SF Management to deliver strategic initiatives including SF business corridors and client prioritisation
* Produce management reports, analytical tools and presentation materials on business performance, pipeline deals, client plans, forecasts, team structure, Coverage, and costs
* Generate ideas to support the development of new digital platforms
* Works closely with the Business Management teams and frontline bankers
* Contribute to translation of the Bank and CCIB strategy into SF priorities for Client Coverage
* Provide analytics on market, industry and competitors to support strategic planning
* Support and engage in the SF agenda involved in Net-Zero, carbon offset, transition finance and related topics, supporting the Global Head of Sustainable Finance, Head of Sustainable Finance and Head of Strategic Initiatives
* Together with the Head of Sustainable Finance, Head of SF Strategy and Head of Strategic Initiatives, develop and regularly review the aspiration and strategies for the CCIB SF business globally
* Seek new opportunities to develop and grow the aspiration and strategies, within the framework of a prudent and well-managed risk environment
* Contribute to significant Sustainable Finance technology led transformation programmes and delivery portfolios
People Management
* Ensure project objectives, outcomes, constraints are clearly defined and understood by key stakeholders
* Supervise the creation and tracking of the project plans, risk management and reporting.
* Manage the engagement of 3rd parties involved in the delivery SF initiatives
* Support updates to senior management and stakeholders on progress of strategy
Strategy
* Work closely with the Global Head of Sustainable Finance, Head SF Strategy and the Head of Strategic Initiatives to develop the CCIB Sustainable Finance strategy that would make SC the Bank best known for Sustainable Finance by our clients and other stakeholders
* Work with internal and external engagement partners to fine tune the strategy and encompassing actions
* Help identify and translate near and medium-term implications to delivery of strategy
Business
* Build effective links across Bank and CIB businesses (CC, TB, FM, CF, DCDA, Finance, Group Strategy)
Risk Management
* Ability to identify any risk for new products and new business, regulatory and thematic risks, and the proposed appropriate controls to mitigate these risks.
Governance
* Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate
* Degree (BA or equivalent)
* ‎5 + years banking / financial services experience
* Experience in Sustainable Finance Preferred
