HR Officer (Compensation and Benefits)
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Reports to: Head of Rewards, Africa and Middle East
Location: Dubai Airport Free Zone, United Arab Emirates
Position summary:
The HR Officer is responsible for the administration of the Airbus Africa and
Middle East payroll, management of HR database, assistance to HR Team in
contracts administration, reporting and analysis of HR related data/metrics.
Key responsibilities:
* Processes the monthly payroll within agreed timelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency between payroll and the HR database and ensure all payroll documentation is accurate and maintained in accordance with Data Protection requirements.
* Supports the administration of annual compensation programs including salary reviews, bonus campaign, and share purchase program.
* Supports the annual payroll budget planning process. Liaises with finance to provide annual employee payroll budget data. Assists with finance department inquiries and reporting.
* Responsible for managing, maintaining and updating the HR database with employee data and provide training, guidance and support for HR system users.
* Continuously improves functionality of the HRIS, ensuring data quality and value.
* Prepares and evaluates employment contracts and related paperwork (extension, termination, addendums to employment contracts, etc.) ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Participates in salary surveys and conducts research on current market trends. Conducts analysis and makes recommendations to ensure an internally equitable and externally competitive compensation structure.
* Creates and completes reports and analytics on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis. Performs analysis to provide trends and recommendations and ensures accuracy of data.
* Supports special HR related projects as required.
Required education & qualifications:
* University Degree with a focus on Human Resources
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience related to Human Resources, specifically in Compensation and Benefits part
* Strong command of Microsoft Excel with the ability to use advanced formulas, charts, pivot tables
* Comfortable working with large amounts of data
* Team player with the ability to interact and build relationships at all levels within an organization
* Self-starter and able to work with minimal directions
* Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent literacy in verbal/written communication in English
* Full-time position with starting date June 2022
