Job Purpose
The role is responsible to supervise employee uniform services team and manage
uniform services operations at EKFC & other locations. Efficiently manage
Supplier performance & perform periodical inventory.
Key Accountabilities
Plan, schedule and monitor daily uniform counter operations within the
function and ensure timely intervention to manage unexpected requirements for
staff grievances related to uniform or PPE.
Forecast, plan and manage uniform and PPE inventory based on the demand of the
business to ensure continuity of the services.
Identify potential improvement opportunities in the existing working ways by
reviewing the current processes to determine optimal setup for purchase
requisitions, considering costs, delivery times, product quality and available
inventory of the uniform and PPE.
Provide daily direction and communication to the team so that various requests
from the business are appropriately prioritised and answered in a timely,
efficient manner.
Develop best practices that focus on automation and efficient use of resources
whilst adhering to the standards outlined in EKFC digitalisation process.
Assist the Supervisor in training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling,
motivating and coaching employees and serve as a role model.
Timely liaison and coordination with the internal and external stakeholders
related to uniform and PPE to effectively manage the business requirement.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report and
close accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Assistant Manager;
and complete safety training and certifications for self and the team.
Work experience & required skills
Proven experience in uniform management or a related field, with previous
leadership or supervisory experience Area of Experience:
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks,
prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling uniforms, maintaining
records, and overseeing repairs and alterations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective coordination
with laundry services, tailors, staff members, and stakeholders.
