Job Purpose: The Job is accountable to support and prepare the technical,
operations and logistics of Emirates inflight entertainment and connectivity
(IFEC), thus ensuring to implement and deliver the passenger product to the
highest possible standards. The job holder is also required to support the
Passenger Entertainment Operations & Logistics Controller with product
development projects.
Qualifications & Experience: Marketing & Media Communication .Other : 5+ Years
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Experience in Media Communication,
Operations/Logistics Knowledge/skills: - Experience in the Inflight
Entertainment business, preferably with a major airline operating a multi-
channel IFE system and knowledge of product, processes and policies. -
Experience on delivering digital audio-visual content from its origin to
storage arrays onboard commercial aircraft. - Experience in PC programmes may
be required beyond current knowledge, as use of such applications is extensive
and complex. - Experience with database systems including MS Access, Power BI,
SQL server. - Knowledge of AVOD systems, including Digital Media Encoding,
AVOD Media Integration, metadata management systems (MMA, DCMS) and content
delivery to the Aircraft. - Preferably has an understanding of the various
formats and technical standards for duplication of IFE videos and audio
materials, especially multi-lingual formats, as relevant to the various
Emirates inflight entertainment systems formats (Aircraft fitted with
Panasonic and Thales IFE systems). - Customer oriented skills in dealing with
internal and external suppliers, and occasionally passengers, are necessary. -
