our customers 'Fly Better'. Our Business Support Manager - EGS is r esponsible
for the successful delivery of the Group Security Business Support portfolio
including forecasting and planning for operational resourcing, contracting and
manpower supplier management, business data analysis, standards, training
monitoring, procurement, and asset management. They are also responsible for
identifying and implementing cost containment and business improvement
initiatives related to Group Security portfolio through the continual review
and analysis of operational practices and processes, and identifying more
efficient, practical and productive processes and procedures. In this role,
you will: - Develop and implement the Business Support department's long term
plan in conjunction with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the
overall business unit in Group Security's strategy. Conduct regular
benchmarking both locally and internationally in order to identify and
recommend industry best practice improvements to resource utilisation,
systems, processes and standards. - Contribute to the long term plan for
operational and capital resources in support of the agreed business strategy.
Translate investment requirements, being resources, operational expenditures
and capital expenditures into the annual budget planning process. Maintain,
update and monitor the long term plan to account for changing requirements of
the business. Ensure coordination with all relevant business units in the
completion of a financially sound business cases to support all
recommendations. - Set performance objectives for the Business Support team in
collaboration with unit heads of Group Security, and ensuring alignment with
overall objectives of Group Security. Establish agreed standards and measures
for reporting on operational effectiveness and efficiency. Implement and drive
consistency in the application of departmental policies across the business
unit to ensure internal and external compliance requirements are met. -
Identifying appropriate mix of permanent and contractual resource and develop
supporting business cases to drive efficiency. Accountable for resource
planning and rostering for all Group Security units manpower and equipment,
collating demand from various teams. - Accountable for delivery of manpower
supplier management strategy, defining SLAs and vendor performance metrics.
Work closely with vendors to continuous improvement performance. Identify SLA
shortfalls and highlight to management all instances of vendor non-compliance.
- Develop and implement Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) policies and
procedures as required in alignment with Group-wide policies. - Coordinate
with the EGS Training team to make sure all regulatory training and business
required trainings are conducted timely with minimal impact to operations.
Look at opportunities to cross train permanent and outsourced staff. -
Generate regular reports and dashboards for the senior management in Group
Security to highlight overall productivity, shortfalls and predictions. Use
data and analytics to make business decisions and recommendations to the
management. Consult the Unit Heads on the productivity data to support
business decisions. - Coordination of Department wide annual budgeting process
with Group Finance. Overall responsibility for billing and invoicing of
suppliers and EGS customers. Duty Travel management for security operations
(escorts and flight observers). Management of supplies and procurement for all
EGS requirements. - Management of "EGS-owned" facilities - e.g. Labour Camps
which are not being managed by Group Facilities. Management of Contingent
Staff IDs and making sure all IDs are up-to-date and accounted for. Department
wide IT systems access management (ITSRs). Forms and data collection.
Coordination with Group Facilities for EGS occupied facilities. Group-wide
uniforms management
Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for the role, you must meet the
below requirements: - Degree or Honours in related field - 8+ yrs Project
Management qualification desirable - Demonstrated process improvement
experience/experience managing large projects with accountability for
implementation - A proven capability to organise, distribute and complete work
within a multinational and multicultural environment - Strong analytical and
problem solving skills - Good creative and lateral thinking skills -
Qualification on Lean, Six Sigma, and other process mapping tools is preferred
- Strong knowledge of business improvement processes - Strong leadership
skills and can work well as a team player - Self-motivated, highly organised,
pro-active and flexible - Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
with powerful ability to persuade and influence people, and manage
stakeholders, internally and externally, at all levels - Strong work ethic
