About Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island:
Seychelles is part of an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, located about ‎1,600
kilometers (‎1,000 miles) from the east coast of Africa. You'll find us in the
outer Amirante Islands, a cluster of remote coral atolls that are considered
some of the world's most pristine and untouched. Just a ‎35-minute flight
southwest of Mahe, the main island of Seychelles, Four Seasons is the only
resort on Desroches, which provides you complete privacy and exclusivity. With
‎402 hectares edged by ‎14 kilometers of white-sand beaches, you'll feel as
though you've discovered your own private tropical paradise. Our rustic villas
and suites are intimate retreats and will make you feel like a castaway who
has struck gold.
Our stunning resort opened in March ‎2018 and has ‎40 villas and ‎31 private
residences as part of the rental pool. The accommodation is exclusively
private pool villas and residences with a luxury design that incorporates all
modern conveniences. There are ‎6 food and beverage venues, a stunning spa,
fitness center, tennis courts, beachfront main pool as an alternative to the
villa pools, tortoise sanctuary home to more than ‎150 Aldabra Tortoises who
are looked after by the Island Conservation Society, ‎15 Kilometers of biking
trails, retail, kids club and a whole host of experiences including stargazing
on the runway, yoga, surfing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, stand-up paddle
boarding and even a game of petanque.
The Role of Resort Manager:
We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Resort
Manager to join our Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island team!
This role reports to the Regional Vice President and will be responsible for
leading the day-to-day operations at the hotel. You will be responsible for
providing the successful guest service delivery for the hotel and will be an
active part of the local community. You will provide leadership and management
for all hotel operational personnel, and take responsibility for the health,
safety and welfare of our hotel guests and employees.
Our Resort Manager will lead the operational team in delivering consistently
high service levels; ensuring our many return guests are warmly welcomed and
looked after.
Our Ideal Resort Manager candidate will have:
Resort Management experience, previous island, remote location or emerging
marketing experience, and a passion for Food and Beverage and guest experience
creativity. Private Residences experience and renovation/project management
experience would be an asset. In addition, you should have attention to detail
and project management experience, the ability to enhance Four Seasons brand
leadership with infusion of local heritage and culture into the product and
service offerings, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
You should have a collaborative nature to operate in full synergy with Four
Seasons Resort Seychelles.
You should be a dynamic, hands-on, highly visible and inspirational
operational leader with a strong passion for people development, have an
entrepreneurial spirit, be a guest ambassador with the ability to challenge
the norm and be solution oriented, and have an innovative approach to
creatively enhance the overall hotel product with a strong focus on F&B and
Spa.
A seasoned leader with diplomacy and the ability to build strong relationships
with key stake holders inside and outside the resort (Owners, Community), the
ability to engage with ownership on strategies to increase revenues and
understand their needs and be able to draw a long-term vision for the hotel.
You should have a deep understanding of luxury to deliver both world class
product and services, have strong finance/business acumen with the ability to
drive outcome, and be a charismatic, nurturing, and inspiring leader of our
team with the ability to attract and retain local talent and support their
development and growth. As Resort Manager, you will be the Cultural Advocate
of the Golden Rule in every employee action in your hotel; creating a great
