About Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti:
Join us deep in the heart of the world's most celebrated wildlife reserves,
where the Big Five - the lion, the leopard, the buffalo, the elephant and the
rhinoceros - run free on the endless, untamed landscape. Perched on a series
of elevated platforms and walkways, our Lodge sits next to an animal watering
hole, where you can watch a family of elephants stop for their morning drink.
Nestled in the heart of Central Serengeti amid wide-open plains, our Lodge is
just a 45-minute drive from the Seronera Airstrip, accessible by connecting
flights from three main airports within Tanzania.
This beautiful lodge opened under the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts family
in December 2012, and has 77 rooms including 12 suites and 5 villas, 3
stunning Food and Beverage venues, our unique Discovery Centre offering an
interactive experience where you can learn about the wildlife, history and
people of the Serengeti, Kijana Kids Club, a spa with 6 free-standing
treatment pavilions offering bespoke rituals and treatments that celebrate

The Role of Resort Manager:
We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Resort
Manager to join our Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti!
This role reports to our General Manager and will be responsible for leading
the day-to-day operations at the hotel. You will be responsible for providing
the successful guest service delivery for the hotel and will be an active part
of the local community. You will provide leadership and management for all
hotel operational personnel, establish plans of character, integrity and
quality which results in the continued life, growth and profitability of the
business and take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of our
hotel guests and employees.
Our Ideal Resort Manager candidate will have:
Experience of working in southern / eastern Africa or in remote locations,
with the ability to lead and oversee upcoming renovation projects.
The ability to lead the operational team in delivering consistently high
service levels; ensuring our many return guests are warmly welcomed and looked
after. You should have attention to detail and project management experience,
the ability to enhance Four Seasons brand leadership with infusion of local
heritage and culture into the product and service offerings, and an
entrepreneurial spirit.
You will be a strong operational leader and guest ambassador with the ability
to challenge the norm and be solution oriented. A seasoned leader with
diplomacy, presence and the ability to build strong relationships and work
collaboratively to achieve mutual goals with key stake holders inside and
outside the resort (Owners, Community).
You should have experience in a challenging market environment with creative
business and revenue producing strategies, an innovative approach and a deep
understanding of luxury to deliver both world class product and services, and
have strong commercial acumen, proven ability to manage costs and deliver
bottom line, the ability to link day to day activities to longer term business
plans, goals and objectives, and be a decision maker whom is able to set clear
strategic direction.
You should also be a charismatic, nurturing and inspiring leader of our team
with the ability to attract and retain local talent and support their
development and growth. As Resort Manager, you will be the Cultural Advocate
of the Golden Rule in every employee action in your hotel; creating a great
workplace for all great people to deliver great experiences.
